Looking for a fulfilling career in heavy construction? We are searching for an enthusiastic and reliable driver to operate our water trucks! As a water truck driver, you'll have the opportunity to transport water to construction sites and help with excavation and trench filling. Join our team and make a difference!




Responsibilities:

  • Operate tank truck to transport water for construction projects.
  • Insert pipes in refilled trenches and other excavations.
  • Operate auxiliary pump on the truck to pump water into fill to settle and compact dirt.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any issues to the dispatcher.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records.
  • Safely operate the truck to pick up and/or deliver cargo, as assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Report safety hazards.
  • Immediately report incidents involving injury, illness, or property damage.
  • Wear appropriate PPE as outlined in the Company's policy/guidelines.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Refuse any unsafe task or operation.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training.
  • Consistently be aware of your personal safety and that of your coworkers and your surroundings.




Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A or B CDL license with tanker endorsement.
  • Valid DOT Medical Certificate and Medical Examiner's Report required.
  • Clean driving record with no DUIs within the past five years, no more than two moving violations, and no more than one accident within the past three years.
  • Two or more years of driving experience in a comparable vehicle.
  • Ability to comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
  • Ability to process alpha/numeric information accurately.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to think logically, follow procedures, instructions, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, extended hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
