CABHS is a new 16-bed psychiatric hospital for children ages 6 to 18 who have serious behavioral and emotional conditions. This investment in a state-of-the-art facility signals a long-term commitment to innovative programming serving vulnerable youth and providing a multidisciplinary approach to evidence-based care. The treatment team consists of hospitalists, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and rehabilitation therapists dedicated person-centered treatment and improving the lives of kids.

Job duties include:
Perform direct care services and treatment interventions under supervision of the Registered Nurse. Keep clinical charts and reports on the emotional and physical status of patients. Facilitate the admission of patients to the unit; take temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings; administer and record prescribed medication. Promote and participate in rehabilitation activities and encourage patient personal hygiene. Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment and comply with all safety and health standards, laws, regulations, and policies.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse.
