The Customer Service Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that shipments are picked up and delivered on time, while meeting customer requirements by various means of managing the flow of the shipment.

About Heritage Specialty Foods:

Our company is comprised of two local families and two generations who are joined together by the same mission of supporting our customers with naturally fresh, kettle cooked foods for retail and food service operations.

With over 30 years of experience in fresh food manufacturing, we understand the intricate and delicate balance of taking a recipe and producing it on a grand scale while still maintaining the recipe's integrity.

We take full advantage of the abundance of local ingredients available to us in Portland to create our soups, chilis, chowders, entrées, sauces, marinades, and puddings also including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options and are looking for someone who relates to our company culture to join the team!

  • Enter all purchase orders or finish products to be shipped and coordinate shipments to meet customer order requirements.
  • Invoice all sales orders when product has shipped and submit to customers.
  • Work closely with Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure finished goods availability to fill purchase orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Track all products being shipped and immediately contact the sales team member and customer if there are any shortages or delays in deliveries.
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints and resolve those customer complaints
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions and any corrective action taken.
  • Effectively interface with various levels of management, customers and colleagues.
  • Data entry into various platforms including EDI, web portals, and software.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail in daily transactions.

Customer Service Logistics Coordinator Qualifications:

  • QuickBooks experience required.
  • Intermediate Excel skills required.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships.

Pay Range for Customer Service Logistics Coordinator:

$17.00 - $22.00 Hourly
