Thompson Pipe Group is now looking for a Financial Analyst_ who will be responsible for analyzing current and past financial data and performance metrics. This position is responsible for creating financial reports and models for management review. This position will work closely with staff within the organization from accounting/finance personnel to members of management to ensure accurate financial reporting.


Essential Functions:

  • Utilize skills to collect and analyze key financial and operational data to develop financial models to support planning, forecasting, and standard costs
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding of data for various members of management
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking on a determined schedule
  • Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes
  • Assist the accounting/finance team with other duties as needed including reconciliation of the general ledger, investigating variances, and monthly financial report preparation


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting/Finance with 4+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
  • MBA or CPA certification preferred
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques


Skills:

  • Strong computer skills with fluency in Excel formulas and functions
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in daily work and other projects
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skill in working with all levels of in the organization


****Work Hours*****

  • Monday-Friday (Holidays are off)
  • 10-hour shift/ 7:00 AM- 5:00PM
