Finance Associate, Columbus, OH

Ice Miller is seeking an associate with 3 or more years of experience in lending transactions, including lender-side representation and/or borrower representation in mergers and acquisitions including private equity, senior capital, junior capital, and mezzanine financing transactions.

Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of financing structures, credit agreements, security agreements, and documenting finance transactions. Ice Miller prefers candidates with excellent written and oral communication skills, a team-oriented mentality, and that are motivated self-starters with strong law school credentials.

In this position you will:

• Lead and/or assist in the drafting, reviewing, and management of wide variety of corporate work.
• Lead and/or assist in various corporate transactions including stock sales and purchases, asset purchases, venture capital financings and debt financings
• Have opportunities for advancement, including partnership track, in a collegial environment.
• Collaborate across offices, especially with a busy corporate transactional practice.
• Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility.
• Engage in business development activities.
