Our mission is to make life better for our patients, our community and our staff. You can help us with that mission by being a COVID screener for everyone who enters our buildings. Your pleasant, friendly demeanor will set the tone as you conduct the brief screening and help keep us all healthy. Responsibilities Under general supervision, greets and screens visitors for symptoms of COVID-19 as they arrive at a Legacy facility per the Legacy Health screening protocols and scripts. May provide assistance such as giving directions and general information. Within the scope of duties, the Screener will use customer service skills, problem solving skills and effective communication skills to contribute to the positive patient experience and work environment. May need to work an occasional shift at an alternate Legacy location, as staffing demands require.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (goggles, mask, gloves) for prolonged periods of time Ability tomove about thework area in a safe manner Sitting, standing, bending, and reachingthroughout the workday Ability to communicate clearly in English via voice, phone, and computer with distractions and noise Manual dexterity and keyboard operation Ability to accommodate posted shift start times Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Prior customer service experience required. Experience greeting visitors and assisting with their needs in the organization, preferred. Skills: Ability to communicate, read and write in English. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a calm, professional manner in charged situations. Ability to adapt to change rapidly and positively. Ability to work in collaboration with other team members in a fast-paced environment. Ability to problem solved and identify resources for screening issues.
