The Manager, Key Accounts is a high profile position managing all aspects of a shared risk arrangement with an innovative national, specialized vendor provider group focused exclusively on treating the most complex and chronically ill patient population. This position has accountability for oversight and management of day to day operations for all activities related to the vendor's contract and optimizing contract performance. This position will work in collaboration with other areas of Healthfirst to closely monitor performance. This position will report directly to the AVP, Ancillary Vendor Engagement.

  • Ownership of ensuring the tracking and oversight of financial performance
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and point of contact for all financial reconciliations as well as for coordination with all internal business units related to vendor agreement
  • Ownership of coordinating and establishing Governance Committees
  • Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the contract are in forced and deliverables are met
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in health care finance or business administration or relevant work experience
  • 5 - 7 years' experience in health care, or other relevant experience required
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry ,managed care and health plan operations
  • Ability to lead and prioritize complex projects
  • Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience in managing large, complex contracts required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft product suite required
