The Training and Engagement Specialist carries out onboarding, ongoing training, and employee engagement initiatives for leadership staff within Community Living. They provide continuous quality improvement in service development and management and ensure compliance with regulations as well as the vision, policies and budgetary parameters of Fraser.They provide 245D based additional support to Community Living leadership through assisting with Program Manager on call responsibilities, supervisory duties, or other leadership duties as assigned and when needed.


Training and Engagement
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives for leadership staff within Community Living services including orientation and ongoing training.
  • Find new ways to be even more meaningful, effective and efficient for our families, staff and partners.
  • Provide back up support to Training and Onboarding Specialists for division onboarding of new direct care and leadership staff.

Site Support
  • Oversee routine operations for Community living service sites, and supervise as necessary.
  • Assure availability as required, either at the work site or electronically, to respond to emergencies immediately and provide direction and support to staff and clients.
  • Support other Program Managers in on call responsibilities as directed.

General Leadership
  • Assist in the development and implementation of division policies, procedures, budget, and quality assurance system for Community Living.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and achievement of a management by objective (MBO) plan for Community Living.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of service delivery methods to comply with current regulatory standards.

Other duties as assigned. Local travel required.

This position is salaried and is based on experience. Estimatedpay range is between 53k-60k per year.

Location: Bloomington, MN. Regular business hours. Flexibility needed.

Qualification requirements:
  • AA degree or above in a human service-related field
  • Designated Manager qualified as defined by 245D required.
  • Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record required.

  • More than two years as a program supervisor in a 245D based organization.
  • BA/BS in a field related to human services.
