OFFICE TECHNICIAN (TYPING) - COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DIVISION / OFFICE OF GRANTS AND LOCAL SERVICES / HEADQUARTERS
The reporting location for this position is Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the general direction of Staff Park and Recreation Specialist.
Under the general direction of Staff Park and Recreation Specialist, the Office Technician (Typing) (OT) provides assistance for, and on behalf of, Office of Grants and Local Services (OGALS) staff and grantees. The OT provides officewide support and performs the majority of clerical functions for the office. The incumbent oversees and maintains office operations, exercises professionalism, good judgment, and initiative in performing and tracking on-going and periodic responsibilities. The OT has excellent oral and written communication skills and utilizes outstanding customer service techniques. The OT uses Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams). The incumbent has consistent, regular, predictable attendance.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
