Position Overview:

Under General supervision and direction, performs duties relating to Quality Assurance, including but not limited to reviewing accounts from various systems to validate and escalate points for technical, billing and quality control.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Research and resolve escalations (CATS) in the Customer Service Department relating to payment issues and equipment issues.
  • Review billing system orders and queries to identify errors made during order entries, correcting what is needed.
  • Responsible for responding to all correspondences, correcting undeliverable mail and paperwork research.
  • Monitor and work any pending research requests within the designated timeline.
  • Cover front counter for vacations on designated rotation by travelling when needed to cover other office locations to fill in.
  • Other duties may come as assigned.
  • Pick up mail from the post office and sort the mail depending on who its assigned.
  • Audit Courtesy and Employee Accounts for accuracy.

Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in complex billing and reporting systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Customer service preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Mediacom products and services offered.
  • Basic knowledge of various departments and their functions.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and standard office machines and Microsoft office programs.
  • Good verbal and written communications.
  • Cash Handling preferred.
