Position Overview:

The Senior Account Executive plays a pivotal role in achieving ambitious sales and profitability targets with both new and existing clients. This role involves surpassing assigned quotas, driving business development within the designated territory, and identifying valuable market opportunities. The Senior Account Executive leads the sales process, encompassing proposal development, project scope communication, and managing change order costs.

This position requires a keen ability to recognize enterprise-level client needs and budget constraints, crafting comprehensive scopes of work for proposed technology integration and installation. The Senior Account Executive excels in identifying and qualifying high-margin leads, guiding clients through project phases, and maintaining a client-centric approach. As the primary contact for clients, they established a partnership before, during, and after sales to ensure exceptional client service.


Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in consultative sales and customer support within AV/IT or a similar technology industry.
  • High proficiency in using Windows, MS Office, and customer relationship management (CRM) software,
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, along with active listening skills.
  • Strong persuasiveness in prospecting techniques
  • Capability to drive multiple concurrent opportunities through the sales cycle to closure.
  • Competence in managing assigned active accounts and fostering existing sales growth.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of AV/IT products, design, engineering, sales, and the industry as a whole


Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calls to potential sales prospects, manage existing accounts, identify, and qualify prospective customers, educate customers, and develop and present sales quotes and proposals to achieve assigned sales objectives.
  • Sell products, solutions, and services offered by our company in various accounts and territories as mutually agreed with management. Assist in closing business as part of a team.
  • Implement sales and marketing tactics and programs to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of customer accounts, including expediting purchase decisions, communicating project lead times, obtaining appropriate change orders, and assisting with customer collections when necessary.
  • Provide sales support, coordination, and planning throughout the entire pre- and post-selling process.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Perform customer needs analysis and site surveys.
  • Responsible for providing sales forecast data to the management team as needed.
