We currently have an opportunity for a Systems Installation Engineer to join our team!

This position will be remote and you will work from home when not travelling to a customer's site.

Candidates must live within an hour of a major airport and have a valid driver's license.

Desired locations for candidates to currently live:

Toledo, OH; Columbus, OH; Detroit, MI; South Carolina; Alabama; or Louisiana

Responsibilities

• Performs system installation of autonomous guided vehicles and peripheral equipment at customer locations (chargers, I/O panels, operator interfaces, etc.).
• Responsible for Installing, testing, and debugging the system.
• Travel of (50%) domestically required. On occassion- internationally to customer sites
• Modifying equipment and software.
• Troubleshooting, defining, and seeking resources to recognize and resolve electrical, mechanical and/or software improvement opportunities with system components.
• Making software and hardware adjustments.

• Monitors system performance metrics.

• Performing customer training.
• Interfacing with customers.
• Collaborating with other engineers on projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering required.
• Disciplines of engineering includes Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics preferrred.
• Experience with computer programming languages is required
• Javascript, C#, C++, Python, MATLAB, Visual Basic preferred.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Valid driver's license required
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship requirements needed now or in the future
