Qualifications RS&H is currently seeking a Highway Engineer III for the Transportation-Infrastructure Practice in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of roadway design fundamentals. The candidate will be knowledgeable in all aspects of roadway plans production and be able to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to roadway design. While the ideal candidate would work a hybrid schedule out of our Philadelphia Office, we are open to and will consider remote candidates.
Job Summary:
This position performs all conventional aspects of engineering design and development, including the planning and conducting of work requiring more advanced techniques. This role independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of engineering designs for projects of moderate size and complexity. This position requires independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/ modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria, and must be able to independently solve problems and make decisions, receiving technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans.
