Maintenance Technician (1st Shift), Fort Lauderdale, Florida

We are looking for a maintenance technician who is responsible for maintaining equipment and property for day-to-day optical laboratory functions. The shift is Monday - Friday, from 6:00am - 2:30pm. We offer 401K options with company match safe harbor, medical, dental and more!

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for completing all maintenance service requests as assigned

• Perform or schedule with outside contractors all other building maintenance as needed

• Maintain all OSHA, Federal, State, Local and Company Safety requirements for lab operations

• Monitor and change all HVAC filters

• Maintain exterior property

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and routine building maintenance

• Check and change light bulbs, interior and exterior as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace

• Assist in heavy lifting, removing or rearranging furniture

• Must have basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
