Description

The purpose of your role as a Building Automation Systems Designer

This role is responsible for the overall design for various building automation projects. The role works closely with the business development area of building automation to incorporate key needs of the customer/project, as well as field personnel to update aspects of designs as needed. This role is responsible for choosing the appropriate parts for all HVAC equipment in a timely manner. Previous experience work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) will be helpful in being successful in this position, as well as having previous drafting experience using AutoCAD.

What we're looking for in you

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
  • 2+ years of experience work with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
    • Niagara, KMC-BACnet, Distech, Honeywell, or LonMark programming experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in drafting, laying out, and specifying technical devices, parts, and equipment.
  • 2+ years of AutoCAD experience
  • Proficient understanding of mechanical systems
  • Proficient understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits and how they work together.

Pay Range: $61,067 - $91,601 annually

The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
