PositionThe Sourcing Engineer works for the Supply Chain team as a technical resource supporting the product development/launch process for externally supplied hydromechanical products, electronic assemblies, and other products or services of a technical and specialized nature. This high visibility position helps to assess supplier capabilities prior to supplier selection, as well as supports the technical aspects of new product development as first parts are manufactured. This candidate will work with suppliers to identify opportunities for manufacturability improvements in new designs, and to address delivery challenges, part execution and quality issues that may arise during the initial manufacturing process.
