Job title: QRF Emergency Staff Physician A Quick Reaction Force member is a FULL-TIME Physician committed to a standing call schedule. Upon notification, team members deploy immediately to one of our many Indian Health Service Hospital Emergency Rooms. Currently servicing contracts in South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Arizona (with 5 new sites pending), the primary goal is to have a standing team available to cover unforeseen gaps in coverage. In seeking the ideal candidate, we value a combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal characteristics. The successful candidate should possess: Minimum Applicable Physician Requirements: · MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. · ABEM certification or board eligible (emergency medicine). · Willingness to travel on short notice. · No med mal or board issues. · ACLS, BLS, ATLS (ATLS is still required at some sites for physicians) · No other employment / contracting (non-compete position) · Clean background, ie no DUIs · Ability to be credentialed at all sites. · Vaccines up to date · Any state license; unrestricted Native American Preference: Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Native American candidates in accordance with federal law (Title 25, USC Section 472).
