About The Role:

Are you ready for your next real security challenge? Are you passionate about helping organizations stop breaches using a platform that just works? If so, CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with significant security expertise. You will be managing our global customer relationship with Amazon for all existing business. You will protect and nurture Amazon’s adoption of CrowdStrike’s product capabilities and ensure that Amazon is utilizing the full capabilities of their existing product investment. You will be part of a team responsible for changing what the security market and customers believe is possible with a next-generation endpoint technology. You should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment on multiple engagements.


This remote position is available to candidates located in either Seattle WA or the Northern VA, DC area.
What You'll Do:
  • Work with your team on identifying, developing and executing account strategy to optimize existing business within Amazon.

  • Establish access and maintain existing relationships with key decision makers in the various Amazon businesses to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.

  • Manage internal and external technical executive communications and manage overlay resources as needed.

  • Leverage outside the box thinking in tackling challenges to help meet customer demands. Where applicable, collaborate with operative peers across functions (including the Field Sales, Falcon Complete team, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services, Customer Support, and Product Development) to create visibility within CrowdStrike and help drive a resolution.

  • Can collaborate with other sales engineering peers to ensure of the success of the mutual account.

  • Experienced in endpoint or network security space – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.

  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems

  • Oversee and lead day-to-day technical pursuits, POVs, and technical engagements with Amazon.

  • Can easily articulate complex security problems to a diverse set of audiences

  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives


  • What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field

  • Senior sales engineering background or 7+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.

  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash

  • Ability to travel as required


  • Bonus Points:
  • Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis

  • Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies

  • Experience with application devops security

  • Experience with Splunk, correlation rule concepts in popular SIEM tools, and various data ingestion methods.

  • AWS Certifications

  • Understanding of the OSI model

  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS
