Responsibilities

  • Perform entry-level professional work, including developmental assignments involving the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks under direct supervision.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to contribute to the planning, design, and execution of various structural engineering projects.
  • Assist in analyzing reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs and performing site visits to plan and assemble construction documents.
  • Utilize structural engineering software and tools to perform analysis, modeling, and simulations to support design decisions.
  • Conduct site visits and field observations to gather data and assess project requirements.
  • Be responsible for project quality on tasks assigned as defined in the Quality Assurance / Quality Control guidelines.



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Strong academic background in structural engineering fundamentals, including structural analysis, statics and dynamics, reinforced concrete and structural steel design, and geotechnical engineering.
  • Proficiency in using engineering production software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar applications.
  • Proficiency in using structural engineering analysis software such as STAAD, RISA, Enercalc, MATLAB, or other engineering analysis software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development.
  • EIT certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
  • +2 years of experience in the field or a related area
