Job Summary Building and fire officials looking for a change of pace may be interested in this position! The Assisted Living Engineering Services team helps protect Minnesota's most vulnerable by enforcing state licensure and physical environment requirements in assisted living facilities. In this role, you will provide construction document reviews, inspections, and surveys for the evaluation of assisted living facilities to ensure the physical environment complies with State laws and rules. This position will also provide training and expertise to assisted living professionals to educate them on maintaining facility compliance. The Assisted Living team serves facilities located throughout the state of Minnesota with 50% of work time spent onsite at designated facilities. When not onsite, remaining follow-up work is performed by teleworking from your home office. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to bargaining unit guidelines. Position locations will be determined by the top candidates and will be based out of one of the following MDH district office locations: Rochester, Mankato, Marshall, St. Paul, St. Cloud, Duluth, Fergus Falls or Bemidji. This posting will be used to fill up to two positions.
