Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Compliance and Contracting Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an IT Contracts Administrator! This position will understand issues related to and direct, manage, and coordinate all phases of IT related contracts, including software purchases, licensing agreements, user agreements, and subscriptions. The incumbent will provide technical assistance, training, monitoring, and general consultation to all divisional staff related to the IT and non-IT contract processes.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Provide direction, management, and coordination of all phases of contracting processes in accordance with state and federal laws, regulations, and mandates for DCT.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage request for proposal processes; draft and execute contracts and amendments for both IT and non-IT contracts.
  • Collaborate on targeted activities, projects, and outcomes with other DCT Administration staff, staff from other DHS divisions and other state agencies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Three (3) years professional level experience performing contract management, preparation, or compliance that demonstrates the following:
    • Knowledge of various types of contracts, which may include professional/technical services, medical services, external access agreements, end-user license agreements, subscription agreements, and software as a service contracts.
    • Experience managing the contract development process from inception to completion.
    • Experience drafting and processing contracts and contract amendments.
    • Ability to analyze and research contracts to resolve errors and problems.

Note: A bachelor's degree in public policy, law, compliance, business, or related field may substitute for 1 year of experience OR master's degree in public policy, law, compliance, business, or related field may substitute for 2 years of experience OR Juris Doctor from accredited law school may substitute for 2 years of experience.
