VAE, Inc. is looking for a Systems Engineer who will directly support ongoing efforts of Technical Management Division (TMD) Director PEO C3T / PM IEN to standardize implementation of the Army prioritized modernization efforts (Enterprise Networks, Wireless, Army Enterprise Transport, Voice, Data Centers and Base Emergency Communications Systems) across CONUS and OCONUS Installations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

VAE, Inc. is looking for a Systems Engineer who will directly support ongoing efforts of Technical Management Division (TMD) Director PEO C3T / PM IEN to standardize implementation of the Army prioritized modernization efforts (Enterprise Networks, Wireless, Army Enterprise Transport, Voice, Data Centers and Base Emergency Communications Systems) across CONUS and OCONUS Installations.

  • Wireless SME (e.g., general RF, Spectrum, Satcom, LMR, Wi-Fi, 5G/LTE)
  • Contribute to weekly reviews, edits and development of Army architectural/ engineering/ technical briefings and system implementation guides for PM IEN
  • Collaborate periodically with Army stakeholders (e.g. NETCOM, ARCYBER, TRADOC, N-CFT) in the review, edit of Army architectural/ engineering/ technical guidance/capabilities development documents (CDD) developed outside PM IEN
  • Validate and summarize functional requirements and concept of operations guidance to support development of system implementation guides
  • Conduct industry/vendor engagements, technical and market research, and formal technical exchanges to support “derived” requirements and validate standards and specifications development.
  • Conduct/collaborate on technical exchange and engineering review boards to finalize systems implementation and associated standards and specifications guidance
  • Provide SharePoint site management/publication of TMD documentation/
  • Conduct short-suspense review and provide relevant feedback/comment for Army Task Management Tool taskers (e.g. EXORDs, Regulations, Policies, Capabilities Documents) assigned PM IEN
  • Participate in various technical working groups, synchronization meetings and integrated project teams to proactively capture PM IEN high-interest items and Dueouts/direct or indirect taskings for timely leadership awareness


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Secret Clearance
  • 8570 compliance
  • Army knowledge/experience preferred
