Overview

The specific duties of this position including, but not limited to, providing direct patient care, evaluation and treatment in areas of reproductive mental health including the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, perinatal loss and bereavement, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, sexual function disorders, infertility and mood disorders related to the menstrual cycle and menopause.

The team member will work under the direction of the Division Head of Reproductive Psychiatry and Behavioral Health as a member of this interdisciplinary division to optimize operations in order to create a fiscally viable operation, as well as an excellent patient care and learning environment. Responsibilities may include instruction and supervision of learners, as well as collaboration with medical colleagues throughout the Center for Women’s Health and OHSU.

The faculty member must be state licensed. The faculty member must also be credentialed and privileged as a member of the OHSU Professional Staff in accordance with the specialty bylaws. The faculty member is expected to comply with scope of practice, other laws, regulations, OHSU policy, and other applicable professional standards of practice.



Responsibilities

  • Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) OR Currently licensed as a LPC, LMFT or LCSW
  • 2 years of postgraduate experience preferred
  • Oregon State Licensure
  • Knowledge and ability in evidence based psychotherapies. Specialty emphasis and/or interest in receiving additional training in psychological aspects of reproductive mental/behavioral health.
