We are committed to excellence in all aspects of our operations and we are seeking a talented Financial Analyst II to join our finance team with a focus on supporting our operational functions.

The Financial Analyst II will play a crucial role in providing financial analysis and support to our operational teams including such tasks as budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. This role will involve collaborating closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights to drive decision-making.

You'll get to:

  • Assist in the development of annual operational budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers of variance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for operational areas
  • Track and present financial results and key performance indicators to department heads and senior management
  • Work closely with Accounting to assist in monthly close process including providing information related to accruals
  • Analyze costs and expenses related to operations, including labor, materials and overhead
  • Work with operational teams to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
  • Maintain financial models to support operational decision-making
  • Assist in the evaluation of capital investments and other strategic initiatives
  • Conduct research and analysis to address specific operational questions or challenges
  • Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel; experience with financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive, Hyperion) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$89,750.00 - $113,250.00
