The Customer Care Sales Representative, strengthens the relationship between JBT FoodTech and its customers by forging ties with key customer contacts, understanding customer needs, and proposing solutions to customer issues utilizing our customer care organization and resources; effectively increase our sales to each customer by leveraging our strengths against their needs via parts availability, pricing and quality, and better positioning of our service, kit and project offerings.



Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the organization on parts promotion and sales volume improvement.
  • Use sales enablement tools (share of wallet calculator, Salesforce funnel management & activity tracking) to maintain and improve JBT sales within the territory and report out results.
  • Establish communication channels with the customers in the assigned territory in order to be the “go to” resource for any problems arising from the sale of JBT parts, ProCare or projects and drive issues to satisfactory conclusion for the customer (Customer Advocate).
  • Communicate internally regarding our parts pricing, availability and quality performance and the direction required to improve them.
  • Develop, nurture and maintain positive working relationships with key influential individuals at most of our customer sites within the geographic sales territory.
  • Work closely with Service Managers, Parts Managers, Project Management and Sales to promote and grow parts, projects and ProCare sales within the territory.
  • Must indicate demonstrated effectiveness in strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of employees and collecting and analyzing appropriate data to determine strength of opportunities and best use of resources.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-year University degree
  • 8 to 10-years’ experience in field with food processing equipment preferred.
  • Influencing others through facilitation and leadership techniques.
  • Managing multiple and shifting priorities under critical time constraints across a diverse group of people.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of employees.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude needed to help facilitate customer needs into JBT provided solutions.
  • Must demonstrate the working knowledge and mechanical fundamentals of JBT product lines.
  • Need to have the flexibility/range to feel comfortable on a customer’s job site during a major rebuild and customer meeting room with corporate Procurement/Engineering.
  • Collecting and analyzing appropriate data to determine strength of opportunities and best use of resources.
