Description:

We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to prepare schedules and workpapers, assist with the monthly and quarterly accounting close, complete processes such as bank and mortgage reconciliations, run and distribute reports, prepare cash receipt and vendor request forms, prepare lender packages, and perform other ad hoc projects as assigned.

The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to work with all levels of employees across the Company, and meet accounting department deadlines. The individual must thrive in a team environment and be flexible regarding ad hoc reporting and must respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' of strong bookkeeping and reconciliation experience

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in a business concentration

  • Working knowledge of real estate and accounting systems

  • Strong MS Office skills

The expected salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
