About the Job

We have an opportunity for an Outpatient Support Services II at our Central Clinic in Medford, Oregon. The Outpatient Support Services II will closely assist in the management of therapists’ and licensed medical providers’ schedules. They will maintain accurate staff relationships in the electronic medical records system and demonstrate strong customer service, organizational skills. The Outpatient Support Services II will have keen attention to detail and effective verbal intervention skills in de-escalating clients. They will answer telephones, route calls, take messages, provide general information, answer routine questions, and occasionally cover the front desk when needed. The Outpatient Support Services II will work independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings, and project implementation planning.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (Full Time, Day)

What You’ll Make

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE/Credentials.

Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

About the Program

Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in psychiatric, nursing, and medication services. Psychiatric services are provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine.

ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

What You’ll Need

Successful candidates MUST have:

  • TWO (2) years of experience in a medical or administrative office position
  • Associates degree in Business or related field is preferred
  • Coding, billing, and/or insurance experience is preferred

Successful applicants MUST have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, use basic tools, and perform other physical tasks as applicable including minimal cleaning tasks; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
